On November 19th,1988 Sharon Murch was struck by a parents worst nightmare when her 9 year old daughter, Michaela Garecht was abducted by a stranger while she and a friend were walking home from a neighborhood market.

A frantic search ensued, but Michaela was never found, and to this day her case has gone unsolved.

In the years that would follow Sharon found herself on a long journey searching for answers and understanding of how a loving God could allow such a terrible thing to happen to her sweet innocent child. She found herself questioning if he even existed at all. Although Sharon had been a Christian prior to Michaela’s abduction, and attended church regularly, her faith had been shaken to the core. She no longer trusted God and eventually turned her back on Him, but God doesn't give up that easily.
